| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Dovie Ann | 4 | | Anderson, who passed away on February 24, 2014; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dovie Anderson was born in Saltillo, Mississippi | 6 | | on July 29, 1931 to Dr. James and Annie (nee Tolbert) Wilson; | 7 | | and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Dovie Anderson was a dedicated employee at Signal | 9 | | for 30 years; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Dovie Anderson was a member of Johnson Chapel, and | 11 | | later she joined Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Dovie Anderson was preceded in death by her | 13 | | parents; her husband, Charles; her daughter, Murlean Seals; her | 14 | | sisters, Lucy and Welzanna; and her brothers, Cecil and | 15 | | Augustus; and
| 16 | | WHEREAS, Dovie Anderson is survived by her children, | 17 | | Ronald, Steve (Chryl), Barry, Donald, and Chuckie Anderson; her | 18 | | grandchildren, Terrance and Verna Sutton, Rolien and Kenya | 19 | | Seals, Chardelle Seals, Ronald and Tosha Anderson, Maurice and | 20 | | Michelle Jones, Steven and Billie Anderson, and Amber Anderson; |
