| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Arthur F. Schwanke, Jr. of Huntley, who | 4 | | passed away on August 1, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. was born on September 15, | 6 | | 1921 in Des Moines, Iowa; his parents were Arthur, Sr. and | 7 | | Verna (nee Henderson) Schwanke; and
| 8 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. served his country with pride | 9 | | as a member of the United States Army during World War II; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. enjoyed spending his time | 11 | | sailing, playing tennis, and golfing; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. was preceded in death by his | 13 | | parents; a step-daughter, Amy Foley; and a sister, Martha | 14 | | Schauss; and
| 15 | | WHEREAS, Arthur Schwanke, Jr. is survived by the mother of | 16 | | his children, Barbara (nee Dreffein) Schwanke; his wife, Janice | 17 | | (nee Redmann); his children, Janet (Jim) Hustler, Jo (Michael) | 18 | | Lange, Jeri Innis, Jil Schwanke, Steve (Barbara) Schwanke, | 19 | | Terri Foley Schneider, Donna (Bob) Watson, and Peggy (Steve) | 20 | | Bucklin; his grandchildren, Anthony (Stephanie) Hustler, |
