| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Dale Richard Winter of Moline, who passed | 4 | | away on December 14, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Dale Winter was born in Moline to Albert and Eva | 6 | | (Bierlien) Winter on April 9, 1928; he married Joan B. Day in | 7 | | Moline on May 28, 1955; he began working at National Tea and | 8 | | then served in the U.S. Army with the 44th Division during the | 9 | | Korean War; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Dale Winter retired from the United States Postal | 11 | | Service as a letter carrier in June 1984, after 28 years; he | 12 | | was most recently employed at Hertz Car Rental as a | 13 | | transporter, retiring after 24 years; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Dale Winter was a member of the Moline American | 15 | | Legion; he enjoyed his time with his family and spending | 16 | | several winters in Florida; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Dale Winter was preceded in death by his parents | 18 | | and a brother-in-law; and
| 19 | | WHEREAS, Dale Winter is survived by his wife, Joan; his | 20 | | children, Mark, Len, and Matt (Jennifer) Winter; his |

| 1 | | grandchildren, Andrew, Nolan, Barrett, and Brody; and his | 2 | | sister, Beverly Boyle; therefore, be it
| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | Dale Richard Winter and extend our sincere condolences to his | 6 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 7 | | further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of Dale Winter as an expression of our | 10 | | deepest sympathy.
