| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Wayne E. Crider of East Moline, who | 4 | | passed away on December 20, 2019; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was born in Carrier Mills to Ausceon | 6 | | "Jack" and Lois Crider on May 27, 1922; he married Alma Ellis | 7 | | in Morehead City, North Carolina in 1944; he served as a | 8 | | sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II and the | 9 | | Korean War; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Crider worked as a parts supervisor at John | 11 | | Deere for 37 years; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was an active bowler and served as | 13 | | president of the John Deere bowling league for many years; he | 14 | | enjoyed scenic road trips across the country, history, | 15 | | wrestling, old westerns, and game shows; he was an advocate for | 16 | | nature, and it showed through his landscaped backyard and his | 17 | | welcoming manner toward wildlife; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Crider was preceded in death by his wife, | 19 | | Alma; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Wayne Crider is survived by his son, Gary (Zoila) |

| 3 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED FIRST GENERAL | 4 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 5 | | Wayne E. Crider and extend our sincere condolences to his | 6 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 7 | | further
| 8 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 9 | | presented to the family of Wayne Crider as an expression of our | 10 | | deepest sympathy.
