| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Brenda Mae Bostic of Danville, who passed | 4 | | away on October 17, 2012; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was born June 27, 1944, in Danville; | 6 | | her parents were Herman Walter and Agnes Kiel Kienietz; she | 7 | | married Charles Bostic on September 3, 1966, at Bethel Lutheran | 8 | | Church; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic served as the Danville Township | 10 | | Clerk and had been employed in the Vermilion County Circuit | 11 | | Clerk's Office for 15 years; she was employed as manager of the | 12 | | Secretary of State's Tilton Driver Services Facility at the | 13 | | time of her passing; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was a lifelong member of Bethel | 15 | | Lutheran Church and an active participant with the Vermilion | 16 | | County Democrats; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic enjoyed being involved in the | 18 | | activities of her children and grandchildren, and playing | 19 | | euchre and Scrabble; and
| 20 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic was preceded in death by her father, |

| 1 | | mother, and stepmother, Opal (Miller) Kienietz; her brother, | 2 | | Robert Lee Kienietz; and her stepbrother, Ronald Mietzler; and | 3 | | WHEREAS, Brenda Bostic is survived by her husband, Charles; | 4 | | her daughters, Michelle (Tim) Snelson and Melinda (Mark) | 5 | | Potter; her sister, June Young; her stepsister, Peggy | 6 | | Pannbacker; her grandchildren, Trent and Taylor Snelson and | 7 | | Morgan and Meredith Potter; and her many nieces and nephews; | 8 | | therefore, be it
| 9 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL | 10 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with | 11 | | her family and friends, the passing of Brenda Mae Bostic; and | 12 | | be it further
| 13 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 14 | | presented to the family of Brenda Bostic as an expression of | 15 | | our sympathy.
