| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | 3 | | Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Henry | 4 | | Lee Darden, who passed away on October 23, 2022; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Henry Lee Darden was born in Clarksdale, | 6 | | Mississippi on March 9, 1936; he graduated from Jean Bapiste | 7 | | Point DuSable High School in Chicago; he served in the U.S. Air | 8 | | Force; and
| 9 | | WHEREAS, Henry Lee Darden worked as a steel worker and | 10 | | served as a union steward at the Reynolds Metal Company; and
| 11 | | WHEREAS, Henry Lee Darden enjoyed bowling, watching | 12 | | sports, listening to music, and spending time with his family, | 13 | | especially his grandchildren; and
| 14 | | WHEREAS, Henry Lee Darden was preceded in death by his | 15 | | wife, Toni Darden; his parents, Henry and Mary Darden; his | 16 | | sister, Willa Mae Williams; and his brother, Obero "Bo" | 17 | | Darden; and
| 18 | | WHEREAS, Henry Lee Darden is survived by his children, | 19 | | Edwin (Kathie) Darden, Kimberly (Anthony) Williams, Jacqueline | 20 | | Harvey, and Teresa Barrow; his siblings, Lillie (Donald) |
