| 2 | | WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to | 3 | | learn of the death of Paul Rudzinski, who passed away on August | 4 | | 26, 2015; and
| 5 | | WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was born in Waukegan on May 27, | 6 | | 1926 to William J. Rudzinski and Klevopa Lingus; he attended | 7 | | Waukegan schools and served in the United States Army during | 8 | | World War II; he took part in the Battle of the Bulge and was | 9 | | awarded a Purple Heart; and
| 10 | | WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski worked as a civil servant for 40 | 11 | | years as a barber at the Great Lakes Naval Base; and
| 12 | | WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was a member of the Knights of | 13 | | Columbus, Waukegan Council #731; he served as Grand Knight, 3rd | 14 | | Degree and was a member of the 4th degree; he was the Chairman | 15 | | of the tootsie roll drive for many years and was a past | 16 | | Chairman of the KC Wheelers; and
| 17 | | WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski was preceded in death by his | 18 | | parents; his son, Victor James; his sisters, Jenny (Robert) | 19 | | Kochom and Barbara (Jack) Kilger; and his 2 beloved cats, | 20 | | Spencer and Rudzy; and

| 1 | | WHEREAS, Paul Rudzinski is survived by his wife of 66 | 2 | | years, Patricia; his daughter, Patricia; his sons, William, | 3 | | Gary (Cathy), and Kenneth (Esther); his granddaughter, Amber | 4 | | (Jeremy); his 3 great-grandchildren; his sister, Susan Kaires | 5 | | (Gerald); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends; | 6 | | therefore, be it
| 7 | | RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL | 8 | | ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of | 9 | | Paul Rudzinski, and extend our sincere condolences to his | 10 | | family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it | 11 | | further
| 12 | | RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | 13 | | presented to the family of Paul Rudzinski as an expression of | 14 | | our deepest sympathy.
