HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Mitch Alberstett, a senior at Durand High School in Durand, on winning the State Wrestling Championship; and

WHEREAS, He is the first young man at Durand High School to win two State titles and get 100 wins in wrestling; and

WHEREAS, He is quoted as saying he won the title for his sister, Sergeant Kayla Alberstett, who is stationed in Afghanistan; and

WHEREAS, He won the title after pinning Addison Driscoll High School athlete Jake Randich in four minutes, fifteen seconds in the Class A 189-pound championship match; and

WHEREAS, The coach for the Durand-Pecatonica team is Matt Kinney and the Athletic Director at Durand High School is Peter Robertson; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-SIXTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Mitch Alberstett and wish him the best in his future endeavors; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Mitch Alberstett as a symbol of our respect and admiration.
