SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of John Darrell "JD" Krmpotich of Johnston City, who passed away on July 9, 2012; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was born on August 9, 1960, in Christopher; his parents were John and Margaret Annette (Kellerman) Krmpotich; he married Marlene Yotkewich on May 21, 1994, in Stiritz; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich earned his master's degree in behavioral health from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich retired after 18 years of service as Director of Youth Service at Franklin-Williamson Human Services; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Marion; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich enjoyed gardening and loved to share the fruits of his labor with his family and friends; he also enjoyed spending time outdoors with his son, Jacob, photography, and spending time with his family; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich was preceded in death by his parents; and

WHEREAS, John Krmpotich is survived by his wife, Marlene; his son, Jacob Miles Krmpotich; his sisters, Margaret "Dink" Ball and her husband, Lloyd, and Kathy Pinkston and her husband, Charles; his father and mother-in-law, Jim and Mary Yotkewich; his sister-in-law, Minta Keirn and her husband, Doug; his brother-in-law, Todd Yotkewich and his wife, Melisa; his nephews, Danny Ball and Ryan Pinkston and his wife, Lisa; his nieces, Stacy Ball, Shannon Pace and her husband, Chris, and Michelle McCabe and her husband, Chris; and his many great-nieces and great-nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of John Darrell "JD" Krmpotich; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of John Krmpotich as an expression of our sympathy.
