SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to
3learn of the death of Tyrone Lawyer Kindle of Plymouth,
4Minnesota, who passed away on June 19, 2014; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Tyrone Kindle was born on April 12, 1961; he and
6his family moved to Markham in 1964, and he graduated from
7Thornwood High School in South Holland in 1979, where he played
8basketball and football; he served in the military and attended
9the Public Affairs Officer Course at the Defense Information
10School at Fort George G. Meade, the Basic Officer Leaders
11Course at Fort Benjamin Harrison, and Military Officer Training
12at the Minnesota Military Academy; and
 
13    WHEREAS, Tyrone Kindle most recently served as the
14Assistant Principal at Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids,
15Minnesota starting in July of 2006; he also served as Dean of
16Students at the Plymouth Christian Youth Center from January
172001 to January 2006, as Director and teacher at The City, Inc.
18from January 1994 to January 2001, as Assistant Director at
19WCCO-TV from January 1995 to January 1996, and as master
20control operator at WFTC Channel 29 from January 1991 to
21January 1994; and
 
22    WHEREAS, Tyrone Kindle studied at the University of

1Minnesota-Twin Cities from 2004 to 2005, where he received his
2administrative licensure, and at the University of St. Thomas
3from 2002 to 2005, where he received his Master of Arts in
4Special Education and Teaching; he also attended the University
5of Wisconsin-Superior; and
 
6    WHEREAS, Tyrone Kindle was preceded in death by his
7brother, Curtis Kindle; and
 
8    WHEREAS, Tyrone Kindle is survived by his wife, Kathryn;
9his children, Zarkari, Takina, and Nehemiah; his parents, Nathe
10and Herberdenia; his siblings, Rita McCune, Evelyn Pharms,
11Michael Kindle, Herberdenia Phillips, and Adolphus Kindle; his
12father-in-law and mother-in-law, Richard and Joyce Plaman; his
13brothers-in-law, Brad (Jennifer) and Jeff (Tammy) Plaman; his
14faithful dog, Bella; his nieces and nephews, Dione Glenn,
15Sterling Jason McCoy, Kiana Phillips, Camille (Phillips)
16Slaughter, Kamilah Kindle-Jones, Kimberly Phillips, Chantia
17Kindle, Yoruba Pharms, Samantha McCune, Bailey Plaman, Michael
18Kindle Jr., Atukwe Kindle, Alyson Plaman, Malcolm Kindle,
19Isabela Plaman, Oliver Plaman, and Henry Plaman; and other
20relatives and friends; therefore, be it
 
21    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-EIGHTH GENERAL
22ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
23Tyrone Lawyer Kindle, and extend our sincere condolences to his

1family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it
2further
 
3    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4presented to the family of Tyrone Kindle as an expression of
5our deepest sympathy.
