HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of James Joseph Moehlenhof of Peoria, who passed away on February 28, 2015; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof was born on April 9, 1954 in Peoria; his parents were Joseph Henry and Mary Ann (nee Pegg) Moehlenhof; he married Mary Jo McGrath on June 27, 1981 at St. Mark Catholic Church in Peoria; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof attended Western Illinois University, where he received his Bachelor's Degree in Accounting; shortly after, he became a Certified Public Accountant and Certified Management Accountant; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof served as the director of finance at Heyl, Royster, Voelker, and Allen, P.C.; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof enjoyed serving his neighborhood; he served as president of the Arbor District Neighborhood Association and was a member of St. Mark Catholic Church and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof enjoyed spending time with his family and following the St. Louis Cardinals; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof was preceded in death by his parents and a sister; and

WHEREAS, James Moehlenhof is survived by his wife, Mary Jo; 2 children, Michael James Moehlenhof and Brian Philip Moehlenhof; 2 siblings, Margaret "Pegg" Moehlenhof Isbell and John Moehlenhof; 9 nieces and nephews; and 6 great-nieces and nephews; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-NINTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we, along with his family and friends, mourn the passing of James Joseph Moehlenhof; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of James Moehlenhof as an expression of our sympathy.
