SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Brian Christopher Dzurney of Joliet; and

WHEREAS, He was a 13-year Firefighter and Paramedic with the Lockport Township Fire Protection District; and

WHEREAS, He was a member of IAFF Local #1544 and Carpenters Local #174; and

WHEREAS, He was the co-owner of B.N. Cardz, Inc.; and

WHEREAS, He was an avid outdoorsman; and

WHEREAS, Brian Dzurney was the beloved husband of Heather M. nee Smith; he was the loving father of Gracie A. and MaryKate; he was the dear son of Richard J. and Jeanne nee Singraber; he was the fond brother of Rick W., Kristen (Brian "Skip") Swanson, Gina (Doug) Kazmierczak, and John (Krissy); he was the special nephew to Uncle Mike; he was the cherished son-in-law of Hugh T. and Diane M. nee Kurzawski; the brother-in-law of Brad (Christine) Smith, Kimberly (Glen) terHorst; the proud "GUB" to Kaitlyn, Dougie, and A.J.; the uncle of many nieces and nephews; the best friend and business partner of Nick (Amy) Carbaugh; and he was loved by his dogs Sandy and Liberty; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-SEVENTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Brian Dzurney; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Brian Dzurney as a symbol of our sincere sympathy.
