SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:

New Act

Creates the State Employee Right of Action Act. Provides that a person, as an employee of the State, shall have the right to bring an action against the State agency that employs the person if the State agency adopts a rule or regulation that is related to public health, and the rule or regulation affects the person's continued employment with the State agency.

A BILL FOR

AN ACT concerning civil law.

Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, represented in the General Assembly:

Section 1. Short title. This Act may be cited as the State Employee Right of Action Act.

Section 5. Right of action. A person, as an employee of the State, shall have the right to bring an action against the State agency that employs the person if the State agency adopts a rule or regulation that is related to public health, and the rule or regulation affects the person's continued employment with the State agency, including, but not limited to, the suspension or termination of employment.
