SYNOPSIS AS INTRODUCED:
 
20 ILCS 2635/7.5 new

    Amends the Illinois Uniform Conviction Information Act. Provide that if criminal history record information is requested under this Act, the Illinois State Police shall determine whether the individual named in the request is required to register under the Sex Offender Registration Ac and shall make a notation on the criminal history record information whether the individual is required to register as a sex offender.

1    AN ACT concerning State government.
 
2    Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3represented in the General Assembly:
 
4    Section 5. The Illinois Uniform Conviction Information Act
5is amended by adding Section 7.5 as follows:
 
6    (20 ILCS 2635/7.5 new)
7    Sec. 7.5. Sex Offender Registry notation. If criminal
8history record information is requested under this Act, the
9Illinois State Police shall determine whether the individual
10named in the request is required to register under the Sex
11Offender Registration Act and shall make a notation on the
12criminal history record information whether the individual is
13required to register as a sex offender.
