SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Charles Kerofsky of Moline, who passed away on December 31, 2021; and

WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was born to Maryan and Bronislawa (Jalbrzykowska) Kerofsky in Moline on May 23, 1928; he served in the U.S. Army in Germany during the Korean Conflict; and

WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was employed as a repairman at the former Western Electric; and

WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky was preceded in death by his parents, his seven sisters, and his six brothers; and

WHEREAS, Charles Kerofsky is survived by his nieces and nephews, Michael Kerofsky, Gary Kerofsky, Donna Lawhorn, Marie Kuchara, Cindy Kallman, Thomas Freund, and Jerry Freund; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Charles Kerofsky and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Charles Kerofsky as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
