SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2    WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened
3to learn of the death of Mary L. Hausman of Bethalto, who
4passed away on January 20, 2022; and
 
5    WHEREAS, Mary Hausman was born to William and Myrtle
6(Brown) Gaetz in Riplinger, Wisconsin on September 6, 1944;
7she married Ronald M. "Ron" Hausman in Riplinger on September
823, 1962, and he preceded her in death on June 13, 2012; and
 
9    WHEREAS, Mary Hausman dedicated her life to being a
10caretaker, raising her two sons and helping with her
11grandchildren; and
 
12    WHEREAS, Mary Hausman enjoyed spending time with her
13family; she also enjoyed completing puzzles and playing dice
14and Skip-Bo; and
 
15    WHEREAS, Mary Hausman was preceded in death by her
16parents; her husband, Ron; her sister, Joanne Laper; and her
17brother, Ralph Gaetz; and
 
18    WHEREAS, Mary Hausman is survived by her sons, Keith
19(Sheila) Hausman and Brian (Brook) Hausman; her grandchildren,
20Garrett (Wendy) Hausman, Rebecca (Drew Buettner) Hausman,

1Logan Hausman, and Lauren Puccini; and her siblings, Janice
2Schoelzel, Carol (Dennis) Kuehling, and David Gaetz;
3therefore, be it
 
4    RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED SECOND GENERAL
5ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
6Mary Hausman and extend our sincere condolences to her family,
7friends, and all who knew and loved her; and be it further
 
8    RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
9presented to the family of Mary Hausman as an expression of our
10deepest sympathy.
