SENATE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois Senate are saddened to learn of the death of Francis C. Cullor of Coal Valley, who passed away on October 20, 2023; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was born to Rex and Vivian (Minear) Cullor in Unionville, Missouri on July 22, 1945; he served in the U.S. Army; he married Judy Dahlberg; he later married Carol Zobrist in Moline on May 22, 1970; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was a welder at John Deere Seeding for 35 years, retiring on January 1, 1999; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was a member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Coal Valley, Orion American Legion Post No. 255, and UAW Local No. 434; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor enjoyed golfing and fishing, and he was an avid Green Bay Packers fan; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Drake Long; and his brothers, Rex Cullor and Jack Cullor; and

WHEREAS, Francis Cullor is survived by his wife, Carol; his children, Alan (Pam) Cullor, Aaron Cullor, Andrew Cullor, and Stephanie (Mark) Moore; his grandchildren, Melissa, Meghin, Abby, Austin, Gabrielle, Cody, Emilee, Blaine, Brant, Grace, and Morgan; four great-grandchildren; and his sister, Rose (Ed) Shelton; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE ONE HUNDRED THIRD GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of Francis C. Cullor and extend our sincere condolences to his family, friends, and all who knew and loved him; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to the family of Francis Cullor as an expression of our deepest sympathy.
