1 HOUSE RESOLUTION

2     WHEREAS, The members of the House of Representatives of the
3 State of Illinois are pleased to honor citizens who have
4 achieved recognition for their volunteer efforts; and

5     WHEREAS, Ms. Cass Stevenson is a recipient of a Spotlight
6 on Service Award given by the Secretary of State/Illinois State
7 Library Literacy Office and the Illinois Press Association; the
8 Spotlight on Service Award honors volunteer tutors for their
9 heroic commitment to literacy; and

10     WHEREAS, Ms. Stevenson is a volunteer tutor from Kaskaskia
11 College; she will receive the Spotlight on Service Award during
12 ceremonies held on May 20, 2005; therefore, be it

13     RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
14 NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
15 we congratulate Ms. Cass Stevenson on receiving a Spotlight on
16 Service Award given by the Secretary of State/Illinois State
17 Library Literacy Office and the Illinois Press Association, and
18 we thank her for her dedication to literacy; and be it further

19     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
20 presented to Ms. Stevenson as an expression of our respect and
21 esteem.
