SENATE RESOLUTION

 
2     WHEREAS, The members of the Senate of the State of Illinois
3 learned with sadness of the death of Margaret A. "Margie"
4 Bialczak of Des Plaines on Sunday, January 23, 2005; and
 
5     WHEREAS, Ms. Bialczak was the Maine Township
6 administrator; in that position, she was responsible for the
7 day-to-day operations at the Maine Township Town Hall, serving
8 most of Des Plaines, Park Ridge, Niles, and Rosemont; she was
9 instrumental in township operations, working to remodel the
10 food pantry and board room, dealing with vendors, handling
11 computer equipment and the details of Township programs,
12 including the new Maine Township waste hauler program; she
13 worked on contracts with landscapers and would handle office
14 and staff matters for township employees; she represented Maine
15 Township to the Township Officials of Illinois, Township
16 Officials of Cook County, and neighboring townships; and
 
17     WHEREAS, Prior to becoming administrator, she was chief
18 deputy clerk; she was a graduate of Lourdes High School in
19 1975; she is remembered by her co-workers and friends as a
20 kind-hearted, hard-working person; she had a love of animals
21 and a kind spirit; and
 
22     WHEREAS, The passing of Margaret A. "Margie" Bialczak has
23 been deeply felt by many, especially her daughter, Christie
24 Bialczak; her siblings, Alice and Steve (Sandy); her nephews,
25 Tommy, Brian (Monique), Steve Jr., and Michael Bialczak; and
26 her great-niece and great-nephew, Destiny and Brian Jr.; she
27 was preceded in death by her brother, Robert Bialczak;
28 therefore, be it
 
29     RESOLVED, BY THE SENATE OF THE NINETY-FOURTH GENERAL
30 ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we mourn the passing of
31 Margaret A. "Margie" Bialczak, and we extend our deepest

1 sympathy to her family, friends, and all who knew and loved
2 her; and be it further
 
3     RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
4 presented to her family as an expression of our sincerest
5 condolences for their loss.
