| HOUSE RESOLUTION

| WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of | | 3 |
| Representatives are saddened to learn of the death of Séamus | | 4 |
| Joseph Reilly, who passed away on January 14, 2008; and
| | 5 |
| WHEREAS, He was born on February 3, 1939 in Navan County | | 6 |
| Meath, Ireland; and
| | 7 |
| WHEREAS, Séamus Reilly was a carpenter and craftsman; the | | 8 |
| quality and beauty of his work was recognized throughout his | | 9 |
| community; and
| | 10 |
| WHEREAS, He was a devout Catholic and strong family man; he | | 11 |
| is remembered for his strong voice and his love for music; and
| | 12 |
| WHEREAS, He and his wife visited the Illinois State Capitol | | 13 |
| on May 25, 2006 along with their son, Séamus; the master | | 14 |
| craftsman was impressed with the beauty and majesty of the | | 15 |
| Capitol with its fine artwork and craftsmanship; and
| | 16 |
| WHEREAS, Séamus Reilly is survived by his wife, Ann Reilly; | | 17 |
| his children, Séamus (Maeve) Reilly, Aileen (John) Jones, Joan | | 18 |
| (Eric) Katinas, Paul (fiance, Joanne Slim) Reilly, Bernadette | | 19 |
| (Andrew) Leathers, Nuala Reilly, and Noreen (companion, Denis | | 20 |
| MacManus) Riley; and his grandchildren, Sinead, Ciara, Aidan, |

| RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE | | 4 |
| NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we | | 5 |
| mourn, along with his family and friends, the passing of Séamus | | 6 |
| Joseph Reilly; and be it further
| | 7 |
| RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be | | 8 |
| presented to the family of Séamus Joseph Reilly as a symbol of | | 9 |
| our sincere sympathy.
