HOUSE RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of Representatives are pleased to congratulate Central Catholic High School's 2008 Girls Cross Country State Champion Kelly Curran on the occasion of becoming the Ladies 2008 Illinois High School Class A Cross Country Champion; and

WHEREAS, Kelly Curran placed first in the 2008 Intercity Girls Meet and was the Individual Champion at the University High School 2008 Invitational; and

WHEREAS, During the Regional 2008 Ladies Cross Country Meet, Kelly Curran placed first with a time of 18:36; during the 2008 Sectional Women's Cross Country Meet, Kelly Curran became Sectional Champion with a winning time of 18:08; and

WHEREAS, During the 2008 Illinois High School Association Class A State Women's Cross Country Meet, Kelly Curran became the Illinois High School State Champion with a winning time of 17:27; therefore, be it

RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE NINETY-FIFTH GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that we congratulate Kelly Curran on the occasion of her outstanding season and for becoming the Girls 2008 Illinois High School Class A Cross Country Champion, and further wish her the best in the future; and be it further

RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be presented to Kelly Curran of the Central Catholic Saints Girls Cross Country Team as a symbol of our respect and congratulations.
