Sec. 4.
On July 1, 1990, the Department of Mental Health and
Developmental Disabilities and the Department of Central Management
Services shall transfer to the Board of Trustees of the University of
Illinois all real property, including land, parking lots, buildings and
fixtures, heretofore used in the operations of the Institute for Juvenile
Research and the Illinois Institute for Developmental Disabilities. Until
July 1, 1991, the Department of Central Management Services shall maintain
the real property so transferred. The Board of Trustees shall possess,
operate and control the real property and facilities and after June 30,
1991, shall maintain the property. The Board of Trustees may also plan,
construct, purchase, operate, maintain and control such other facilities
and structures as may be necessary to conduct the programs of the Institutes.
On the date the real property is transferred to the control of the Board
of Trustees, the Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities
and the Department of Central Management Services shall convey to the Board
of Trustees all equipment, commodities and other tangible
personal property located on such premises.
