(205 ILCS 511/15-35)

Sec. 15-35. Minors. No pawnbroker shall purchase, take, or receive any pawn, any property of any kind from any minor who is under 18 years of age, or the ownership of which is in, or which is claimed by, any such minor, or which may be in the possession or under the control of any such minor.
