Sec. 29. Restoration from disciplinary status. (a) At any time after the successful completion of a term of probation, suspension, or revocation of any license under this Act, the Department may restore the license to the licensee upon the written recommendation of the Board, unless after an investigation and a hearing the Department determines that restoration is not in the public interest. (b) Where circumstances of suspension or revocation so indicate, the Department may require an examination of the licensee or registrant prior to restoring his or her license or registration. (c) No person or entity whose license has been revoked as authorized in this Act may apply for restoration of that license until such time as provided for in the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.
