Sec. 25. Physician delegation; hospitals. (a) Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect or in any way limit physician delegation, including the use of standing orders or protocols for any person or group of persons without prior establishment of a physician-patient relationship between the physician and the person receiving medical services.
(b) Nothing in this Act shall be construed to affect or in any way limit standing orders or protocols as implemented by hospitals licensed under the Illinois Hospital Licensing Act, hospital affiliates as defined by the Illinois Hospital Licensing Act, or hospitals licensed under the University of Illinois Hospital Act.
