Sec. 1.

Each circuit court shall establish a pretrial services agency
to provide the court with accurate background data regarding the pretrial
release of persons charged with felonies and effective supervision
of compliance with the terms and conditions imposed on release.

Sec. 1.

Pretrial services shall be provided by a local pretrial services agency or the Office. The pretrial services agency shall provide the circuit court with accurate background data regarding the pretrial release of persons charged with felonies and effective supervision of compliance with the terms and conditions imposed on release.
