Sec. 5.
Every employer covered by this Act shall post in a conspicuous
place where minors under 16 years of age are employed, or allowed to work, a
printed summary of this Act and a list of the occupations prohibited to
such minors, to be furnished by the Department of Labor. Such employers
shall post in a conspicuous place where minors under 16 years of age are
employed, or allowed to work a printed notice stating the hours of
commencing and stopping work, the hours when the time or times allowed
for dinner or other meals, begin and end, and the Department's toll free
telephone number established under Section 17.4. An employer with employees who do not regularly report to a physical workplace, such as employees who work remotely or travel for work, shall also provide the summary and notice by email to its employees or conspicuous posting on the employer's website or intranet site, if such site is regularly used by the employer to communicate work-related information to employees and is able to be regularly accessed by all employees, freely and without interference. The Department of Labor shall furnish this printed summary.
