Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

    Sec. 1-35. Application to Quincy Veterans' Home.

 This Code does not apply to any procurements related to the renovation, restoration, rehabilitation, or rebuilding of the Quincy Veterans' Home under the Quincy Veterans' Home Rehabilitation and Rebuilding Act, provided that the process shall be conducted in a manner substantially in accordance with the requirements of the following Sections  of this Code: 20-160, 25-60, 30-22, 50-5, 50-10, 50-10.5, 50-12, 50-13, 50-15, 50-20, 50-21, 50-35, 50-36, 50-37, 50-38, and 50-50; however, for Section 50-35, compliance shall apply only to contracts or subcontracts over $100,000.

This Section is repealed 5 years after becoming law. The repeal of this Section shall not apply to contracts for procurements under the Quincy Veterans' Home Rehabilitation and Rebuilding Act executed prior to the repeal date.
