Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes,
statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect.
If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has
not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already
been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes
made to the current law.

(a) Applications submitted to the Board for a
certificate of approval to operate a post-secondary educational
institution shall contain a statement of the following:
1. the proposed name of the institution and its
2. the nature, extent and purposes of the courses of
3. the fees to be charged and the conditions under
which the fees are to be paid;
4. the education and experience of the members of
5. the degrees to be issued to students upon
completion of courses of instruction.
(b) The Board may not approve any application for a certificate of approval that has been plagiarized, in part or in whole. Additionally, the Board may not approve any application that has not been completed in its entirety and such application shall be returned to the post-secondary educational institution.
