Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

    Sec. 110. Record of proceedings; transcript. The Department, at its expense, shall preserve a record of all proceedings at the formal hearing of any case.

    Sec. 110. Record of proceedings; transcript. The Department, at its expense, shall provide a certified shorthand reporter to take down the testimony and preserve a record of all proceedings at the hearing of any case in which a license may be revoked, suspended, or placed on probationary status or a licensee may be reprimanded, fined, or subjected to other disciplinary action with reference to the license when a disciplinary action is authorized under this Act and its rules. The notice of hearing, complaint, and all other documents in the nature of pleadings and written portions filed in the proceedings, the transcript of the testimony, the report of the hearing officer, and the orders of the Department shall be the records of the proceedings. The record may be made available to any person interested in the hearing upon payment of the fee required by Section 2105-115 of the Department of Professional Regulation Law of the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois.
