Illinois Compiled Statutes - Full Text

Information maintained by the Legislative Reference Bureau

Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.

Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

30 ILCS 105/24.1

    (30 ILCS 105/24.1) (from Ch. 127, par. 160.1)
Sec. 24.1. The item "electronic data processing" means, and when used in an appropriation act, includes all expenditures incurred for the lease, rental or purchase of electronic data processing equipment and related devices, supplies, services, material and space therefor, and personal services needed, including expenditures for the acquisition of electronic data processing equipment under multi-year lease, lease-purchase or installment purchase contracts for terms of not more than 7 years. Funds appropriated for electronic data processing may be expended to pay any penalty resulting from the cancellation of a multi-year agreement or contract required because funds are not appropriated for the continuation of the multi-year agreement or contract.
