Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 4-103. Provisional licensure emergency rules. The Department, in consultation with the Division of Mental Health of the Department of Human Services and the Department of Healthcare and Family Services, is granted the authority under this Act to establish provisional licensure and licensing procedures by emergency rule. The Department shall file emergency rules concerning provisional licensure under this Act within 120 days after the effective date of this Act. Rules governing the provisional license and licensing process shall contain rules for the different levels of care offered by the facilities authorized under this Act and shall address each type of care hereafter enumerated: (1) triage centers; (2) crisis stabilization; (3) recovery and rehabilitation supports; (4) transitional living units; or (5) other intensive treatment and stabilization | ||
