Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 70-50. Fund. (a) There is hereby created within the State Treasury the
Nursing Dedicated and Professional Fund. The monies in the Fund may be
used by and at the direction of the Department for the administration and
enforcement of this Act, including, but not limited to:
(1) Distribution and publication of this Act and | ||

(2) Employment of secretarial, nursing, | ||

(b) Disposition of fees:
(1) $5 of every licensure fee shall be placed in a | ||

(2) All of the fees, fines, and penalties collected | ||
| ||
(3) Each fiscal year, the moneys deposited in the | ||
| ||
(4) For fiscal years 2010 through 2022, $2,000,000 of | ||
| ||
(5) Moneys in the Fund may be transferred to the | ||

Moneys set aside for nursing scholarships awarded pursuant to
the Nursing Education Scholarship Law as provided in item (4)
of subsection (b)
