Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS)
Updating the database of the Illinois Compiled Statutes (ILCS) is an ongoing process. Recent laws may not yet be included in the ILCS database, but they are found on this site as Public Acts soon after they become law. For information concerning the relationship between statutes and Public Acts, refer to the Guide.
Because the statute database is maintained primarily for legislative drafting purposes, statutory changes are sometimes included in the statute database before they take effect. If the source note at the end of a Section of the statutes includes a Public Act that has not yet taken effect, the version of the law that is currently in effect may have already been removed from the database and you should refer to that Public Act to see the changes made to the current law.

Sec. 15. Driver requirements. (a) Prior to permitting an individual to act as a TNC driver on its digital platform, the TNC shall: (1) require the individual to submit an application | ||

(2) conduct, or have a third party conduct, a local | ||
| ||
(A) Multi-State or Multi-Jurisdictional Criminal | ||
| ||
(B) National Sex Offenders Registry database; and (3) obtain and review a driving history research | ||

(b) The TNC shall not permit an individual to act as a TNC driver on its digital platform who: (1) has had more than 3 moving violations in the | ||
| ||
(2) has been convicted, within the past 7 years, of | ||
| ||
(3) is a match in the National Sex Offenders Registry | ||
| ||
(4) does not possess a valid driver's license; (5) does not possess proof of registration for the | ||
| ||
(6) does not possess proof of automobile liability | ||
| ||
(7) is under 19 years of age.
