Sec. 1.
Short Title.
This Act may be cited as the School District Validation (1995) Act.

Sec. 5. Validation. In all cases in which, before the effective date of
this Act, the regional superintendent of schools was required to publish notice
of a referendum to establish a community unit school district in territory
comprising 2 community unit school districts, 2 community consolidated school
districts, and 2 community high school districts and such notice was not
published by the regional superintendent of schools as required by Section
11A-5 of the School Code (now repealed) and a majority of the voters residing in each of the
school districts comprising the proposed community unit school district voted
in favor of the creation of such community unit school district in the general
election held on November 8, 1994, and in which territory at a subsequent
election similarly called and held a board of education has been chosen for
such district, each such election is hereby made legal and valid and such
territory is hereby declared legally and validly organized and established as a
community unit school district, and a valid and existing school district.
