1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 9
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 9 on page 1, line
3 20, after "in a" by inserting "financially distressed"; and
4 on page 1, line 21, by replacing "is financially" with "has
5 reduced production"; and
6 on page 1, line 22, by deleting "distressed"; and
7 on page 1, by replacing lines 23 and 24 with "last 10 years.
8 The Department of Commerce and Community Affairs, after
9 consulting with the Department of Employment Security"; and
10 on page 1, line 25, by deleting "Community Affairs"; and
11 on page 1, line 25, by replacing "coal" with "county""; and
12 on page 1, by replacing line 26 with "by administrative rule.
13 This credit shall not reduce the company's tax liability to
14 less than zero.".
