1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 291
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 291 on page 8, by
3 replacing lines 30 through 33 with the following:
4 "d. That any contractor , person, or business may be
5 suspended for up to 5 years not more than one year for
6 violation of the competitive procurement procedure or rules
7 of any State agency, or for failure to conform to
8 specifications or terms of delivery, or for any act involving
9 the procurement or performance of any public contract that is
10 indicative of a lack of business integrity and honesty. No
11 State agency shall enter into or approve a contract with a
12 suspended contractor, person, or business; or shall approve
13 any subcontract, material supply agreement, equipment lease,
14 or other business involvement with or by any suspended
15 contractor, person, or business in connection with a contract
16 entered into or approved by the Agency during the period of
17 suspension.".
