1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 522
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 522 on page 13, by
3 replacing lines 13 through 15 with the following:
4 "Section 90. Mandatory inspections. The Department
5 shall inspect a licensee for compliance with the requirements
6 of this Act within 3 years after the date of initial
7 licensure and at least once every 3 years thereafter, unless
8 the licensee can"; and
9 on page 13, in line 31, after "Department.", by inserting the
10 following:
11 "A home medical equipment and services provider licensed
12 within 2 years after the effective date of this Act is exempt
13 from the inspection requirements of this Section during that
14 2-year period.".
