LRB9002893EGfg LRB9002893EGfg 1 AN ACT to amend the State Police Act by changing Section 2 8.2. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. The State Police Act is amended by changing 6 Section 8.2 as follows: 7 (20 ILCS 2610/8.2) (from Ch. 121, par. 307.8b) 8 Sec. 8.2. Longevity increments. All State Policemen, 9 regardless of rank, shall receive a longevity increment at 10 the start of their 5th, 10th, 15th, 20th and 25th years, and 11 in the middle of their 12th year, of service with the 12 Illinois State Police, amounting to approximately 5%five13percentof a trooper's salary for the year preceding that 14 service anniversary. 15 (Source: P.A. 83-914.) 16 Section 99.
