Appropriates $60,300 to the State Board of Education for
a grant to Wilmington School District 209-U to replace local
property tax revenues lost due to the exclusion from the
taxable property of the district of the value of land in the
district owned by the State. Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the State Board of
2 Education.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $60,300, or so much of that amount
6 as is necessary, is appropriated to the State Board of
7 Education for a grant to Wilmington School District 209-U to
8 replace local property tax revenues lost due to the exclusion
9 from the taxable property of the district of the valuation of
10 land in the district that is owned by the State.
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
12 1, 1997.
