1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1151
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1151 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 9 through 22 with the following:
4 "Sec. 3-108. (a) Except as otherwise provided by this Act
5 and subject to subdivision (b) Neither a local public entity
6 nor a public employee is liable for an injury caused by a
7 failure to supervise an activity on or the use of any public
8 property unless the local public entity or public employee is
9 guilty of willful and wanton conduct proximately causing the
10 injury.
11 (b) Where a local public entity or public employee
12 designates a part of public property to be used for purposes
13 of swimming and establishes and designates by notice posted
14 upon the premises the hours of such use, the entity or public
15 employee is liable only for an injury proximately caused by
16 its failure to provide supervision during the said hours
17 posted.".
