Amends the Township Code. Makes a technical change in
the Section concerning the conveyance or lease of land for
the benefit of the township.

1 AN ACT to amend the Township Code by changing Section
2 105-5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Township Code is amended by changing
6 Section 105-5 as follows:
7 (60 ILCS 1/105-5)
8 Sec. 105-5. Conveyance or lease for benefit of township.
9 Every conveyance or lease of land made to any person or
10 persons in any manner for the use and benefit of a township
11 or its inhabitants has the same effect as if made to the
12 township by its corporate name.
