Appropriates $214,400 from the General Revenue Fund to
the Illinois Community College Board for payment of
outstanding obligations incurred for fiscal years before
fiscal year 1997 by State Community College of East St. Louis
prior to its abolition. Effective July 1, 1997.

1 AN ACT making an appropriation to the Illinois Community
2 College Board.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The sum of $214,400, or so much of that
6 amount as is necessary, is appropriated from the General
7 Revenue Fund to the Illinois Community College Board for
8 payment, as provided in subsection (e) of Section 2-12.1 of
9 the Public Community College Act, of outstanding obligations
10 incurred for fiscal years before fiscal year 1997 by State
11 Community College of East St. Louis prior to the abolition of
12 that community college.
13 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
14 1, 1997.
