1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1220
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1220 on page 3, by
3 replacing line 30 with the following:
4 "by the State's Attorney, or other authorized prosecutor, or
5 law enforcement officer acting"; and
6 on page 4, by replacing lines 7 through 12 with the
7 following:
8 "(g) A law enforcement officer shall have the power to
9 issue a citation in response to a signed complaint concerning
10 a violation of subsection (a) of this Section or a similar
11 provision of a local ordinance.".
