1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Insurance Code by changing
2 Section 143.25a.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by
6 changing Section 143.25a as follows:
7 (215 ILCS 5/143.25a) (from Ch. 73, par. 755.25a)
8 Sec. 143.25a. Notice of higher deductible; premium
9 savings. Prior to the first renewal of any policy of
10 automobile insurance as defined in subsection (a) of Section
11 143.13 of this Code, an insurance company shall notify an
12 individual planning to purchase the such renewal policy of
13 the availability of higher deductibles for collision and
14 comprehensive coverage and that a premium savings could
15 result if the higher deductibles were purchased.
