1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Vehicle Code by changing
2 Section 18c-1304.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Vehicle Code is amended by
6 changing Section 18c-1304 as follows:
7 (625 ILCS 5/18c-1304) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 18c-1304)
8 Sec. 18c-1304. Orders of Employee Boards. Employee Board
9 orders shall be served, in writing, on all parties to the
10 proceeding in which the order is entered. The Such orders
11 shall contain, in addition to the decision of the Board, a
12 statement of findings, conclusions, or other reasons
13 therefore. Employee Board decisions and orders shall have the
14 same force and effect, and may be made, issued, and evidenced
15 in the same manner, as if the decision had been made and the
16 order issued by the Commission itself. The filing of a
17 timely motion for reconsideration shall, unless otherwise
18 provided by the Commission, stay the effect of an Employee
19 Board order pending reconsideration.
