1 AN ACT to amend the Department of Veterans Affairs Act by
2 changing Section 1.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Department of Veterans Affairs Act is
6 amended by changing Section 1 as follows:

10 Sec. 1. Creation. There is created the Illinois
11 Department of Veterans' Affairs. The Department is the
12 successor agency to the Illinois Veterans' Commission.
