2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1589 on page 1, by
3 replacing lines 1 and 2 with the following:
4 "AN ACT in relation to emergency orders of protection,
5 amending named Acts."; and
6 on page 3, line 19, by changing "shall" to "may"; and
7 on page 5, line 26, by replacing "within 24 hours of" with
8 "as soon as possible after"; and
9 on page 8 line 18, by changing "shall" to "may"; and
10 on page 11, line 8, by replacing "within 24 hours of" with
11 "as soon as possible after".
