1 AN ACT to amend the Fire Protection District Act by
2 changing Section 1.03.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Fire Protection District Act is amended
6 by changing Section 1.03 as follows:
7 (70 ILCS 705/1.03) (from Ch. 127 1/2, par. 21c)
8 Sec. 1.03. Referendum. Whenever a proposition or public
9 question is required to be submitted, pursuant to this Act,
10 for approval or rejection by the electors at an election, the
11 time and manner of conducting such referendum shall be in
12 accordance with the general election law of the State.
