1 AN ACT to amend the Illinois Municipal Code by changing
2 Section 1-9-5.
3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
4 represented in the General Assembly:
5 Section 5. The Illinois Municipal Code is amended by
6 changing Section 1-9-5 as follows:
7 (65 ILCS 5/1-9-5) (from Ch. 24, par. 1-9-5)
8 Sec. 1-9-5. Headings. Article, Division, or Section
9 headings contained herein shall not be deemed to govern,
10 limit, modify, or in any manner affect the scope, meaning, or
11 intent of the provisions of any Article, Division, or Section
12 hereof.
